The caller contacts debtors that owe monies to clients as assigned to them, making complete and concise notes on every contact with proper writing etiquette. They use the telephone to contact the debtor in a professional manner. If the call is successful, they attempt to collect the total amount due, make arrangements for repayment and update the account with the appropriate comments.

Legal Clerk – Garnishment

The Legal Assistant responds to legal calls and questions from debtors and employers while
assisting preparation of legal documents. This position takes payments, releases garnishments, and
also dismiss & satisfy judgements that get paid in full. Publishes notices in the newspaper.
Handles and follows up on garnishment cases by filling out and sending required forms to the
employer and/or the bank. Revives any legal case’s that have gone state. Take judgment on
employers who fail to answer garnishments in time allowed by the courts. Assist in entering new client
judgments.
